The New York Public Libary launched
their digital gallery today. The NYPL Digital Gallery provides access to over 275,000 images digitized from primary sources and printed rarities in the collections of The New York Public Library, including illuminated manuscripts, historical maps, vintage posters, rare prints and photographs, illustrated books, printed ephemera, and more. But note that current very high demands are causing some delays in serving image derivatives. We are working to boost performance on the image server. Please be patient, your pictures are there
