On June 8th, BAM will present Forough Farrokhazad's short film The House is Black along with Shirin Neshat, who will present excerpts of her own films as well as a current work in progress. Produced in 1962, the film was little seen outside of Iran, but has since been regarded as many to have ushered in the New Wave to cinema in Iran. The House is Black at BAM
